Torch Bearers ……

This Saturday we got up very early to watch the Olympic Torch run past the bottom of the street – they set off around 6.20am so we were stood in position for our fleeting glance at 6.30am – I must say it was a fabulous experience and there was a rousing crowd out early with Buck’s Fizz in one hand a bacon butty in another cheering on the runners – thankfully the torrential rain has stopped as Friday we had 4 inches, so people came and cheered in their PJ’s and wellies with a coat over and then headed back to bed.

This week my magpie eye of all things bling and shiny has found some fabulous rings from Theo Fennell which are real eye catchers and then these unbelievable sunglasses – pure theatre and something which you’ll treasure.
