Globe-Trotter Centenary Cases

Handcrafted in Hertfordshire, Globe-Trotter’s world-famous suitcases have been produced in the UK since 1901. Adopted by purveyors of traditional craftsmanship and a timeless aesthetic, Globe-Trotter’s cases have been used over the last 100 years by an enviable clientele including Sir Winston Churchill, HM Queen Elizabeth II and Sir Edmund Hilary during his conquest of Mount Everest in 1953.

Originally introduced in 1997 to mark Globe-Trotter’s 100th anniversary, the Centenary collection celebrates heritage details and original British hand-craftsmanship.

An update for 2017, this version – lined with vintage-style stickers – is inspired by a case from the Globe-Trotter archives belonging to Hilary Farish, a BOAC air stewardess in the 1960s, who collected labels from the hotels she visited in far flung destinations such as Bangkok, Tokyo and Luxor.

These three cases are exclusive to Harrods
