Dirty Manhattan Recipe


Whisky, vermouth and bitters form the base of this simple but sophisticated cocktail. Served in a martini glass and garnished with a green olive and lemon zest, it's the ultimate elegant party drink.

Ingredients

50ml whisky
25ml dry vermouth
a few dashes of Angostura Bitters
pitted green olive
twist of lemon zest


Pour the whisky, dry vermouth and a few dashes of Angostura bitters into a cocktail shaker with a few ice cubes. Close the lid tightly and shake vigorously for 1 min.

Strain into a chilled martini glass.
Thread a pitted green olive onto a cocktail stick and place into the glass.
Garnish with a twist of lemon zest.
