references, nature and by visiting museums and exhibitions which she marries
with modern techniques.
Susana Paz was raised in a family of artists and figured
quite early that she wanted to pursue a career in no other field but the arts.
As a young adult, Paz mastered in graphic arts and decided to become an art
teacher. After a while she decided to broaden her artistic development and
decided to invest in something enjoyable, digital illustration. Paz finds
inspiration through the countries she has visited, established artists, a
simple but interesting piece of fabric and anything that is colourful, which
may be the ultimate driver. Her works are the reflection of her passion for
geometry, vibrant colours and her everyday living with a childlike view through
art and its potential.
Carmen Von Trueba is a Spanish Architect based in London.
She studied in the Polytechnic University of Valencia where also won several
awards in the design and innovation fields. Her designs are influenced by
Scandinavian and architectural expressions.
Jane McDevitt's interest in matchbox labels lies primarily
in the design but also the concept that these small images can communicate to a
large number of people. 1950s and 60s Eastern European labels captivate her
most as she finds the subject matter particularly fascinating.
Hetty Haxworth, born in Oxford, graduated from The Glasgow
School of Art in 1993. Her abstract prints are inspired by patterns found in
nature, particularly from the coastal landscape. Her work investigates the
delicate juxtaposition of colour, form and line.
Leah Flores is a Portland-based artist who brings together
her love of photography and illustration to create adventuresome designs. Born
in the Pacific Northwest on Leap Year Day 1988, Leah is a first-generation
American with Costa Rican and Scottish roots. In her work you will find
mountains, forests, and wildflowers woven with hand-lettered evocations to go
explore the natural world.
