FEW Spirits are based in Evanston, Illinos, which was once home to the Temperance Movement. Somewhat ironically named after Frances Elizabeth Willard, a key figure in the introduction of Prohibition, the distillery produces a range of unique American spirits. Aged in oak barrels, this has layers upon layers of sweet fruit and spice, with a long complex finish.

Made in very small batches just yards down the road from Selfridges, the Marylebone is a classic, delicate and flavoursome London Dry. With a heart of juniper, the gin is tempered by lemon balm, lime flower, chamomile, grapefruit, liquorice and cloves. A real local product, it’s made in a small copper still. Ideal for having alone or mixed, the gin will make a great addition to a good Londoner’s drinks cabinet.

Camden was once best known as a centre of gin production, and it is this legacy that has inspired the creation of Half Hitch Gin, distilled in the former warehouse vaults of Camden Lock. Using pepper, hay, black tea and bergamot as botanicals, this is wonderfully fragrant and aromatic, with pleasing florality and a touch of spice.

The Birmingham Gin 700ml £44.99 Selfridges (Shop Now)



The Birmingham Gin is the result of eight carefully selected botanicals distilled with the finest English wheat spirit. The botanicals macerate overnight to allow the essential oils to infuse with the spirit before distillation begins in the 150 year old copper pot still in Langley. Exclusive to Selfridges, it has hints of coriander, angelica root, liquorice and orange peel.
